The Brick Group Income Fund announces its August, 2008 cash distribution

    EDMONTON, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - (TSX:BRK.UN): The Brick Group Income Fund (the
"Brick Group") announced today its monthly cash distribution of $0.10 cents
per unit for the period August 1, 2008 to August 31, 2008 will be paid
September 15, 2008 to holders of all Class A and Class B trust units of the
Fund on August 29, 2008.
    This is the 49th consecutive month since becoming an income fund that we
have continued to meet all of our distribution commitments.
