The Mobile Passport Unit of Passport Canada in Iqaluit
GATINEAU, QC, July 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Passport Canada officials are
arriving in Nunavut next week with the Mobile Passport Unit. They will be in
Iqaluit on July 30 to review passport applications and accept completed
passport applications.

The only acceptable methods of fee payment at these clinics will be:
certified cheque, money order (postal or bank) made payable to the "Receiver
General of Canada", VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Payment by cash or
debit will NOT be accepted.
Passport Canada recently launched two new initiatives:
- A Simplified Passport Renewal Process, which allows Canadians who
currently hold a valid passport and meet eligibility criteria to renew
their passport without submitting proof of citizenship or a guarantor
declaration.
- A New Guarantor Policy, which allows most Canadian adult passport
holders to act as guarantors for first-time applicants.

Passport application forms can be obtained at any Passport Canada office,
